Akuma.moe

Here we go again with simple hentai sites. Akuma.moe is one of the hentai sites, but I wasn't able to tell that right away. The site itself looks really simple, and it has nothing to begin with. You just see various lines of text, and that's about it. You won't really get a lot to work with until you open something.

Those who have past experience with hentai sites will be able to tell what this place is just by looking at the name. These are the words you'll only find on a site that has something to do with anime shows.

I'm not really sure how much stuff you'll find here because the display list is not the best one. You have to keep loading more stuff in order to see what's next so you see where's the problem. I could keep repeating the process for a while and still not get to the end. Since I was not in the mood to waste more time than needed, I gave up on finding out how much stuff there was.

By the looks of it, I would say there's plenty of stuff because you can find many daily uploads. In fact, there seem to be over 50 daily uploads, so if my math is correct, I think there's no shortage of comics here.

Comics from the whole world

One of the first things you'll notice is that there's stuff from all around the world. Most of the comics originate from China, but you'll also find stuff from other countries. This usually wouldn't matter a lot, but the reason why I mentioned it is because you won't be able to understand most of the stuff if you don't speak Chinese.

I noticed that usually, the comic is in the language it originates from. So, if you see a Chinese flag, it'll be in Chinese. If you see a French flag, it will be in French. You see where I'm going with this.

I'm not sure if you can sort the content by the language. I looked everywhere but couldn't find a feature that would help me out with this. So, the only way to find a comic in a specific language is by going through the list until you find something you like.

Male and female tags

I've seen a lot of things over the years, but this is the first time I see categories for male and female stuff. I kind of like it because you can easily find something you want, whether you prefer looking at straight scenes or gay ones.

As much as I like the separate lists, you won't find a list of all these categories. You can click on one of the tags once you open a comic and start looking at the rest of the scenes that are marked with the same scene. However, if you are interested in how many tags there are in total, I'm afraid I don't have an answer.

I can't even give you a rough estimate. The best I can do is tell you how many tags there are for each comic. Usually, you will find around 10 tags per comic. Sometimes, you'll find both male and female tags, which means you'll find more tags. Basically, you can expect to see a lot of tags or just a few. There are no rules, so I guess you'll have to wait until you open a scene.

No description

Usually, you get a description of the scene. Even if it's a short one, you still find out something about the scene. However, there are no descriptions here, so you'll have only a limited amount of information before you start reading. I'm not the biggest fan of such a design, but I can't do anything about it.

You might figure out a few things by looking at the title and the thumbnail picture, but that's about it. I guess you can also get an idea of what to expect by looking at tags.

All comics are individual

Usually, you find multiple parts of the same comic, but not on Akuma. Everything that's uploaded is individual, or at least it seems like that.

You won't find an option to jump to the next or the previous part, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't find similar content if you look long and hard for it. I've actually seen some different comics with the same characters. That must mean they are connected somehow, right?

Great quality

At first, I thought I wouldn't see a lot of great stuff here. The thumbnail pictures are small and don't look that great. However, once you open them in full size, they become amazing. Well, that's at least what happened most of the time. I can't say with absolute certainty that'll happen all the time, but it sure did happen to me.

I could see all the tiny details in most scenes, so I didn't have to wonder what was what. Everything seemed pretty good, so I could just focus on enjoying the scenes.

Some comics are long, and others are short. I think everyone prefers looking at the stuff that's nice and long because you simply get to see more without having to go back to the list.

Usually, you see around 20 pages per comic, but that doesn't mean you'll come across comics with 40 or a lot more pages. I wasn't able to figure out how long was the longest comic because there was no way of doing so. You don't have sorting options, and even if there were, I doubt I could look at the comics with the most pages. The only way to do so is by using the advanced search, which wasn't available.

Two display modes

I know I said that you'll see a list of comics on the home page. Well, that's true, but I didn't mention that you can go for the other display type. Instead of seeing nothing but words, you can go for the thumbnail display and get more information from the start.

I prefer looking at content this way because I can figure out what all the scenes are about. Previously, I saw a ton of words in different languages, and everything that wasn't in English meant nothing to me.

Instructions for the search engine

When you see a search bar, you don't think much of it. You think of different things you want to look at and start searching for them. Well, that's not how this search engine works.

Luckily, you have the instructions in the search bar, so you'll figure it out quite easily. For example, if you want to find some category, you have to type in the category and : right next to it, and after that, you enter a category you have in mind. At the end, you have to put the dollar sign. When I say it like this, it sounds really weird. After you're done, it should look like this: Category:douijshi$.

There are different things you can look for, so don't worry; you'll get your hands on all the comics you want. The best thing is that you won't have to spend any money to read them. You don't even need an account to check out the stuff this place has to offer. Just come to the site and start scrolling through lists until you find what you want.

Big collection, but navigation is harder

It didn't take me a long time to figure out that this place has a lot to offer. Even though I couldn't see the entire collection at once, I was able to see how many uploads there were per day. I saw more than 50 uploads today alone, so I think that gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Finding something here might be harder because you don't have the advanced search. You have the basic search, and you can only look for one thing at a time. However, it's not as easy as you might think. You have to select whether you want to look for a category, a female tag, or something else, and after that, you have to enter the thing you are interested in. They've made that part unnecessarily hard.

The quality of most comics is great. I could see all the details, which was the only thing that mattered besides actually following through with the interesting story. I'd assume all the comics are good, just like the ones in English, but I can't really give you a lot of information on those because I don't speak those languages. There was stuff in Chinese, French, Portuguese, and some other languages. The best I can do is guess based on the images, which looked great, but I have no idea if the story is really good or not.
