You have no idea how much I like to see a site that uses big-ass thumbnails just like 8muses.xxx! You know what you are getting into right away, and that's all that matters in the beginning. It's quite easy to find a comic that's going to satisfy you, and none of it would be possible if it weren't for thumbs that show you all the things you need.

The site uses a nice dark theme, so you won't be distracted by the bright white background while browsing content. You can focus on the things that matter, and in this case, those are the hentai comics.

As much as I like the simplicity of some sites, I must admit that sometimes, they make it too simple, so you miss out on some features. In this case, you have the content across most of the screen, and you have some of the features on the site. I just don't like that they didn't make all of these tags and categories the same.

You'll notice right away that there's a difference in the fond and the size, so one tag might be big, and the next one might be barely visible. This isn't the first place that has the same issues, so this wasn't the first time I saw a shitty design like this.

I might not know a lot about programming, but doesn't it seem much harder to display different tags in different fonts? It seems like extra work. If they left it all in the same font and size, they would have much less work. Anyway, that's just what I think.

6,000+ comics

I'm not sure if I got this right, but it seems like there are over 6k comics. Some of you might be wondering why I am not certain about the size of the collection, and I have a really simple answer.

If you look at the first page, you'll see categories or thumbnails that are kind of groups of comics. If you click on one of those thumbnails, you'll get a new list of comics. However, if you skip a few pages, you'll find comics that really are comics. So, I'm not sure if there are more of these groups or not.

The bottom line is that there are at least 6,000 comics. If there are more of these smaller groups of comics, that would just increase the total count.

Multiple chapters

I didn't realize this right away, but the good thing is I did later. Some of the comics here have only one chapter, and others have a couple. I can't even give you an estimate of how much to expect on average because I would have to waste too much time to give you an answer to that question.

I guess you'll have to choose a comic and hope for the best. That's the best I can do. Also, I don't know if new chapters are coming because that part isn't stated anywhere. Actually, I don't even know when these comics were added.

There are no dates at all, so don't ask me about the upload schedule. If I had to guess, I'd say they add something new every day. Otherwise, they wouldn't have a ton of stuff like they do now.

Decent quality

I wouldn't expect to find something mind-blowing because you most likely won't. Sure, there are some great comics, but most of the stuff looks pretty average. If you open these comics, you'll see images that are kind of in HD, but not really. I'm not sure how to explain it. It looks good, but I've seen better.

I covered the resolution, but the quality isn't only about the resolution. The things that are happening in the comic also matter. You could get a comic that looks great, but in reality, it isn't special because you don't get some fantastic story.

I guess it all comes down to what you love looking at. If you have a thing for BDSM comics, you'll find them here. You'll find other comics that include hand jobs, blow jobs, and many other things. You just have to look for them.

So, the bottom line is that there's good content here; it just depends on what you consider to be good. For me, seeing a comic with a couple of parts featuring sexy animate girls getting bound and punished by their masters is fucking great. I know that some of the other people wouldn't even consider reading such comics, so it's a good thing that there are plenty of different genres here.

More features would be useful

They went out of their way to add a bunch of stuff, so I don't see why couldn't they add a couple of features as well. Finding something now is pretty hard. Well, it's not hard, but it's more complicated than it should be.

Instead of having some sort of an advanced search, you'll have to find something the old-fashioned way. You can pick one of the categories, but whether you pick one or the other category, you'll still end up with a ton of stuff.

Luckily, there's a search bar, so you can try looking up stuff you are interested in. I can't promise you will find it, but it's the best shot you have. If you stick with the usual stuff, you'll get results, and it'll be easy from that point.

It would be nice if they added sorting options, at least, but I guess they just didn't care about stuff like that. I'd say that the comics are displayed based on the upload date, but I can't really say that with absolute certainty because none of the comics are dated.

Where's the list with genres?

If you look at the left side of the side, you will see those tags that are out of proportion. I can't help but wonder if those are all the tags or if there are more. I guess we'll never know unless they make some changes to the site.

As far as the tags go, we got to see some of them. However, when it comes to genres, I didn't find any type of a list. The only time I saw genres was when I opened one of the comics. You can see a comic is marked with a dozen or so genres, but that's about it. So, I have no idea if there are a ton of genres or just a few dozen.

Comic's summary

The good thing is that you won't have to choose a comic blindly. First of all, you'll see all those tags and genres, which will give you an idea of what to expect. However, the list of tags and genres seems pretty weird to me, so I'm not sure if it'll help you or make you wonder even more.

The thing that does help is the summary tab. You have a few paragraphs that describe the comic pretty well. It'll take you a minute to read it, and if you like what you read, you should check out the comic. It's much better than to start going through pages only to realize you don't give a fuck about the comic halfway through the chapter.

Big collection, but shitty design

It's hard not to figure out that 8muses has a pretty big collection, but that's not enough to say that a site is good. Even though this place has over 6,000 comics, there are a couple of things missing that would make this place great. For starters, the user experience is not the best. They are lacking a lot of features that would make using this site much easier. Adding some sort of filters or the advanced search would help out a lot, but none of those features are available at the moment.

I noticed that none of the comics are dated, so I can't tell you anything about the upload schedule. There might be daily uploads, but not necessarily. The collection could have stopped getting new uploads a while ago, so I'm not sure what to think. The only thing I can do is guess, and based on the size of the collection, I'd say they have frequent uploads, but who knows if that's true or not?

The quality of comics is good, but I wouldn't say great. I've seen much better comics on other sites, so as far as the quality goes, I'd say it's average. That's still pretty good for a free hentai site like 8muses.xxx. There are some comics that come in great quality, but most of the time, you'll find okay-ish comics. I think that as long as the storyline is great, we can look the other way if the quality is a bit lower. However, if you come across a comic that's in low resolution and isn't fun to read at all, then we have a big problem! Luckily, that didn't happen so far.
